About me

I am a UKCP Accredited counsellor/psychotherapist with 19 years' experience.

I offer short/long term, individual therapy sessions in a confidential, safe space. I use a Gestalt approach and within a non-judgemental relationship, I support you to deepen your understanding of your issues. We work together to discover your needs so you can make choices about how you manage difficulties and live your life. The way we work depends on what you are comfortable with and, as well as talking, can include art; visualisation; drama and movement.

I have extensive experience of working with a wide range of issues such as anger management; anxiety; depression; loss and bereavement; menopause and mid-life crisis; relationship difficulties; stress, and work related.

I am in regular supervision and abide by the professional Code of Ethics and Practice of the Sherwood Psychotherapy Institute and the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy.
