I am an Accredited Member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapists, also a member of the National Counselling Society. I hold a Masters in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Counselling. I have worked in Independent Practice for the past 20 years seeing a diverse client group. I do professional work for solicitors, the law courts and corporate clients.I have consulting rooms in Aberystwyth,where I see patients from a diverse section of the community.I have lived in Wales for 20 years , on a smallholding with my husband and a menagerie of animals.

During my Professional career, I have created and run a Counselling service for the Welsh Ambulance Service. Blaenau Gwent County Council. Gwent Healthcare Trust, now Aneurin Bevan Healthcare Trust.
Training, qualifications & experience
I qualified as a counsellor at the Royal Forest of Dean college Gloucester. Then went to the University of Wales Newport where I took my Masters in Counselling (CBT)and qualified in 2003. I have worked for a Local Authority as staff counsellor for 11 years. I have also run counselling services for staff of the Welsh Ambulance Service and the Gwent Healthcare Trust for 5 years consecutive. My other clients come from referral from GP's, insurance companies and individual self referral.
I carry out Medico Legal work for various trauma's. ie. RTA. Work injury etc
I work with a diverse nature of conditions, including PTSD, OCD, BDD, Depression, Anxiety, Marital Problems, grief and all kinds of abuse, current or historical.One of my specialities is Long time sexual abuse of children or young adults.I work on a one to one basis but also do couple counselling for a slight increase in fees.
I am in regular supervision and attend continuing development.
I am available to supervise other CBT therapists.
I see clients in The Cambria Centre, Aberystwyth and in Cardigan.

- Ongoing therapy £60 per session (50 mins)
For couples initial assessment is £110 (50 mins)

Supervision for qualified therapists is £60 per hour, per month
