Life feels like chaos: Spring clean it!
Spring, longer days and more time to think about what's wrong. Sad but that's how some of my clients feel. Increasingly clients tell me that their lives seem like living chaos. It’s stressful and overshadows achievements and that feeling of wellbeing.
So why do they feel this way?
It tends to be, quite simply, a distraction, whether it’s an untidy house, office, drawers or fear of financial security or unfulfilling relationships, these are all other things to focus on and a way of avoiding the major issues that need attention. Often, with a little investigative work, my clients find that their issues are actually pretty minor BUT they have collected quite a few of them!
What to do?
Start! Yes it’s your choice to start somewhere, anywhere. Maybe a tidy of your workspace, clear some junk and really appreciate your efforts and how good it will make you feel. Absolutely understand and accept that you have the ability to change. It’s wasted time and energy to sit and ‘wish’ that someone else would do it for you or that someone else will change it for you.
Take action, write a list of what needs your attention and has been brushed under the carpet. Prioritize your list, start with something simple and hey presto you are off!
