Supervision details
I offer supervision to both students and qualified counsellors. I have experience in working with adults, teenagers, children and couples. My approach is integrative, I will be more than happy to work in a specific mode if this is required for studying purposes. i have practices located in both Benfleet and Southend. My therapy rooms are quiet and comfortable and allow you the space to reflect on your work and explore your, thoughts, feelings and ideas in connection with your clients. I provide tea, coffee or water and toilet facilities are available.If you have any questions please do not hesitate to get in touch and I will be more than happy to answer them.In September 2018 I will be starting a Supervision Group. It will be a chance for counsellors to share their experiences, case studies, skills, worries and concerns. It will help you to gain more knowledge and get a different perspective from other counsellors. It will be ran from my Benfleet practice. A minimum of 2 and a maximum 4 for 1 and 1/2 hours - time will be divided equally. If you are interested please enquire asap as these slots tend to get filled quickly.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
