Supervision Profile

I qualified as an integrative supervisor in 2005 but also provide Person-Centred supervision if required. I provide both individual and group supervision. For me, supervision is a working alliance in which the counsellor can develop ethical compteence, confidence and creativity and so enhance her practice. My philosophy of supervision is more about a "way of being" born of my value and belief system which informs who I am as a person which, in turn effects how I relate to my supervisees rather than any mechanistic technique. In order to offer a reciprocal relationship to my supervisee, I must be prepared to evaluate myself too by asking my supervisee if I met their needs and evaluate myself as an on-going process.
