YMCA, Bridge Street, Guildford, Surrey, GU1 4SB

This workshop is aimed at professionals who would like to learn about how our early relationships shape the way our mind understands and organises the world around us. We will be looking at how the early bond between child and care-giver shapes brain development, emotional regulation and relationships.

We will also be exploring the effects of insecure/anxious and disorganised attachment styles and their impact on a child and young person's ability to form and maintain safe and nurturing relationships in later life as well as how we as professionals can support their development.
