Workshop for employees and volunteers to support businesses and organisations with productivity
When your employees/volunteers feel supported in their workplace this can help them feel valued. Sometimes to supplement that support, when issues arise, having access to external support can be extremely valuable.
As an introduction to me and my practice I am providing this Workshop for employees/volunteers to help them to begin to have an understanding of self.
I work in an experiential way using objects and visuals to help the participants take time out to focus on themselves.
In the first exercise participants are asked to choose an object from a selection and spend time exploring this by looking and touching it and taking note of what feelings and thoughts arise from this.
In the second exercise the participants are asked to look at a visual and to think about a person in their lives and again take note of what feelings and thoughts arise from this.
After each exercise there is an opportunity for group members, if they wish, to explore further and discuss their experience with the group, perhaps wishing to include their reasons for the choice of object and/or person. The participants also have the opportunity to write down what they have discovered.
All information will be kept strictly confidential.
There is no physical contact with other participants or myself required and no role play.
Participants will be given an 'understanding of self' questionnaire at the end of the Workshop to take away for their own use, to help them discover further insight of self as part of their personal development.
Attendance: A minimum of four and a maximum of six participants from your organisation to complete the group.
Day and time: Normally Thursdays 10.00am until 12noon.
Venue: My premises and location can be viewed on my website www.labelleplacecounselling.com. Unfortunately there is no lift in the building.
