This advanced certificate course is for qualified counsellors seeking to develop enhanced skills at recognising and working more effectively with clients who have conditions of neurodiversity such as Asperger’s, autism, ADHD and dyslexia.

By the end of the training, participants will have a better understanding of how conditions such as Asperger syndrome, ADHD and dyslexia impact clients' lives, their relationships, their experience in therapy and importantly the dynamic between therapist and client. They will be able to attune more closely to possible undiagnosed conditions and explore the ethical and practical implications of raising issues of neurodiversity in the counselling room.

Taking place over five days: 8 October, 11 and 12 November, 17 December and 21 January in comfortable training rooms in a leafy suburb of Cardiff, approximately two miles from the city centre. This course offers 30 hours CPD.
