The freedom programme

This two day course will benefit students and experienced practitioners working with victims of domestic abuse.

It will help you to understand the effects on the victims, including the children involved and enable you to work with them more effectively.

We will look at and explore in depth:

  • What is domestic abuse and what are the effects?
  • The tactics used by the dominator.
  • The beliefs the dominator holds.
  • Where these beliefs come from?
  • The beliefs we may share with the dominator.

This training will take the mystery out of domestic abuse and the 'why' questions will be answered.

CPD - 12 hours, certificate of attendance will be issued.
