This workshop will explore some of the ways of understanding and working therapeutically with addiction and recovery.

The presenter will share a brief overview of some of the models and theoretical discourse that he has found helpful in working with people who struggle with addictive / compulsive behaviours.

Andrew Harvey (Fdap, MBACP), is a Pluralistic Counsellor in private practice. His passion for addiction therapy and recovery led him to working in both addiction rehabilitation facilities (Priory Group) and secure mental health settings. Andrew currently works solely in private practice mixing his work between addiction and non-addiction work.
