Women's group - on-going group work, meeting fortnightly
The group meetings will be Thursday evenings, fortnightly, from 6.30-9.30.
It is a closed group, which means spaces are limited to 8 people.
It is a group which requires commitment to attending the meetings, as groups thrive on the presence of members and struggles with absence.
A Women's Group is a confidential space, whose function is to support self and others. This is a group space facilitated by Nadia Hosein (psychotherapist and healer), and is governed by the principles of providing a listening supportive environment for women to unpack and open up to all that they carry in life.
Time will be given to each member of the group to share and express where they are in life, allowing them time to be heard, to share and be experienced by other women.
As modern-day women we lead full lives and need to take care of our relationship to ourselves and others. The various roles we take as partners, mothers, wives, colleagues in the work place, working alone, nurturers, sisters, children and elders can have overwhelming consequences. At times of stress, conflict, retreat, searching for new perspectives, endings and beginnings, coming to a place of sister-hood can offer personal space and sanctuary. This is a space to bring oneself to simply unpack, to be held in a compassionate, listening environment of other women, to reflect, reconnect and share.
A women's group is a great resource in life, offering support, friendship and a neutral space to find yourself in.
