Led by Professor Brett Kahr, this conference will explore how an examination of Winnicott's personal life and theories can help inform our therapeutic work with couples.

Professor Kahr’s paper The First Mrs. Winnicott... and the Second Mrs. Winnicott: A Tale of Two Marriages Based on Unpublished Biographical Material, will present completely new research on Winnicott's own marriages. His findings will shed light on marital choice, marital health and marital illness.
