Understanding Your Eating
Does stress or 'comfort eating' sabotage your diet?
The ‘Understanding Your Eating’ course enables people to understand how over eating can be driven by their emotions, not by hunger, and look at alternative ways of coping with stress or difficult feelings. The course helps people to take back control, and get off the cycle of ‘yo-yo diets’
The course is a series of 5 one and a half hour sessions covering aspects of emotional eating:
1. eating is not just about hunger
2. eating to manage feelings
3. self esteem and how it helps you to look after yourself
4. improving body esteem
5. using people instead of food to get through the day
The courses run in central Birmingham.
Group offer: If you have a group of 5 of more people, you can have a course set up for just for your group and agree a day and time to suit you, plus you get an extra place free!
