Who is the course for?
Student and qualified counsellors and other related health professionals and carers, including all those who are involved in working within or having responsibility for a group environment.
Aims of course:
To gain a greater understanding of how groups work.
- Understanding Belbins model of role/s people take in groups.
- Understanding of De Bono's theory on thinking styles in discussions.
- How to manage conflict more effectively.
- Understanding of roles and responsibilities.
The course will include theoretical input, interactive nativities and experiential learning.
About the host
Joan is a counsellor, psychosexual therapist and trainer. She is highly qualified with over 20 years’ experience of working with people from 8 to 88! She has delivered training for many organisations in both the public and the private sector – including the Deputy Prime Minister’s office and HM prisons.
