Ever wondered what mindfulness is all about?
Come and join my mindfulness group and discover the benefits that mindfulness tools and strategies can offer you in your day to day living. These sessions help with emotional regulation, attention, concentration and acceptance-all key elements to managing our lives and our relationships.
Practising mindfulness can help us feel more in tuned with reality as well as encourage a better understanding of ourselves. Mindfulness has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, improve emotional intelligence (EQ) and strengthen our problem solving ability by building and promoting new neurological pathways in the brain.
Introduction to Mindfulness - 7th,14th,21st and 28th March. First session is FREE starting Saturday 7th March from 11-12PM, then only £20 per session.
Please contact me directly to book your place. Spaces are limited so I can only accept people who have booked. You can join any time unless the group is full. I will run further introduction courses in April.
Wake In sessions starting Saturday 28th March for those who wish to come and practice mindfulness from 8-8:45 AM Cost £20 per session. Working on different elements of mindfulness such as the origins of mind pain, helpful/unhelpful thinking habits, bringing awareness to the present moment, quieting our thoughts, tuning into compassion, letting go of pain and anger, accepting the gift of life and loving ourselves as we are.
Mindfulness Based Psychotherapy - Individual brief psychotherapy incorporating key elements of psychotherapy blended with a mindful approach to managing emotional turmoil, personal relationships and healing of past trauma or painful experiences. £60 per session
About the host
I am a psychologist and integrative psychotherapist with an interest in mindfulness based psychotherapy. I have 15 years experience working in the NHS in the area of psychological therapies with adults, children, adolescents and families. I am BACP and UKCP accredited and registered. I also offer therapy in SPANISH/Se habla Espanol
