Explore therapeutic writing as an effective tool to help increase your confidence and self-esteem. We will use poetry and expressive writing exercises to discover what holds you back so that you can step out of your comfort zone. No previous experience of writing is necessary.

This course is about using poetry therapy and different aspects of therapeutic writing to address your 'inner critic' as a medium for personal growth and healing. When we expose and reveal some of the unconscious message patterns we routinely send to ourselves, this can offer insight and opportunity to revise our thinking and improve well-being.

Expressive writing is a key part of the course but please note that the focus is on personal development, not on writing techniques.

You will:

  • Increase your self-awareness, self-confidence and self-esteem.
  • Begin to heal and recover from negative experiences.
  • Explore habitual patterns and assumptions.
  • Embrace change with positive affirmations.
  • Let go of your anxieties.
