Sex is an important part of many people’s lives, and can have an impact on a persons’ emotional well-being. Sex can be overlooked in therapy.

The key areas this morning will look at are:

  • Personal attitudes towards sex and how this impacts on discussing sex in therapy.
  • Exploring the correlation between depression/anxiety and a person’s sex life.
  • How you can introduce and explore a person’s sex life in a person-centred way.
  • Erotic transference; how to identify this and work with it in the therapy room.
