A creative approach to exploring the challenges and transitions in women’s lives using story and myth, creative arts, drama and role play.
A holistic approach, we will provide a safe and confidential setting to explore individual and collective themes and narratives that are of most concern to group members, as well as the opportunity to reflect, have fun and replenish ourselves.
Some common themes may include: family developments, identity, partnerships, separation and loss, caring for others, menopause and ageing.
No previous experience in the creative arts is required to enjoy this course.
Eva and Diana have varied life and work experience and are at different life stages. Their collaboration has grown out of their mutual interests, and creates a supportive and dynamic dialogue.
Eva Marie Chadwick is a state registered dramatherapist and a creative arts practitioner. Her background is in the theatre. She provides creative and therapeutic workshops and courses for adults and young people and has a private dramatherapy practice in Stroud. www.evamariechadwick.co.uk
Diana Russell-Carey is a UKCP registered psychotherapist and supervisor. She was one of the founder members of the Gloucestershire Counselling Service and recently completed her MA in Dramatherapy. She enjoys working with individuals and couples of all ages, and has a particular interest in play therapy, dreams and enactment.
