The Pesso Boyden method (PBSP) is a systematic and respectful body-oriented psychotherapy which helps clients become aware of their internal maps or blueprints for living. These maps, formed early in our lives, often limit present-day attitudes and decision-making.

The Pesso Boyden therapist targets these deeply-rooted emotional processes and constraining patterns. Clients are helped to move beyond pure insight to mend historical damage with an emotional solution. The disappointments of early life experiences are retrospectively repaired through precisely-constructed experiences in a group setting.

People report more pleasure and satisfaction in life, greater meaning as their sense of self grows, and increased connectedness in their key relationships. This changed inner stance changes their perspective on life’s dilemmas and difficulties.

“…an affirming system that allows the safe exploration of personal issues. Benefits come not just from being a client because deep learnings are also available from assisting and observing other clients’ work.”

Lunch is provided. CPD certificates if required.

Cost £215 with a structure (individual session within the group); £90 attending as an observer participant (not having an individual session) 10% discount on above prices for participants who reference the Counselling Directory when booking their place.
