Online ex-patriot counselling
Moving to a new country can be exciting, exhilarating and feel like an escape from our 'other' life. These are all a part of the normal reactions when such a change happens in life.
But slowly real life sets in - new cultures, new social rules, new languages. Suddenly you become aware of your difference. You might feel a loss of identity - who are you in this new country? Where does your sense of belonging come from? What is your place here? Do you really belong?
These are all normal questions and feelings when facing a sudden change in life. It can take sometime to adjust and in that adjustment period, questions may arise that leave us feeling vulnerable, lonely, lead to anxiety and at times, depression.
You might begin to question your decision to relocate.
Online ex-patriot counselling can help put some of these fears to rest and support you in identifying what fears you have. It helps separate what is real and what is a normal reaction to your change.
Whether you are thinking of relocating, in the process of doing so or have already made the change, contact me for your free 15 minute online initial consultation.
