Max 8 places.  For those with history of depression, chronic pain+illness, anxiety, stress+addictive behaviours.

Regular home practice, supported by weekly classes. Progressively structured: orientation+8sessions+practice day.

I encourage participants to think of the course as 8 weeks' regular home practice, supported by weekly classes.   It's intense; those taking part need to commit to up to 1 hour's home practice a day for the duration of the course.   Some of the practice will be woven into your everyday life, some requires you to set aside specific time.   So it's not for the faint-hearted or those who are unable to make adjustments to their life in order to accommodate this.   However, the skills you develop during the course will be available to you for the rest of your life.

I've been teaching M-BAs for several years - in preventing relapse of depression, managing pain + chronic illness, working with stress + anxiety.   I have a longstanding Mindfulness meditation practice + have a postgraduate teaching diploma (PGDip Mindfulness-Based Approaches) from the Centre for Mindfulness Research + Practice, University of Bangor.

I'm a qualified and experienced psychotherapeutic counsellor.
