Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8 week course - Lincoln
The MBSR course is an 8 week programme, participants meet with the teacher once a week as a group or individually, where they practice meditations involving breathing and movement, such as stretching or gentle yoga.
Home practice is a large part of the programme, making it a part of your daily routine every day for the 8 weeks. The process has it's challenges, however from gentle exploration of these challenges comes the learning of a new way of being.
There is nothing magical about mindfulness, in it's self it is very simple, adopting an open mind and working with kindly attention to the challenge of the commitment to practice can bring about a great sense of improved well-being.
The group course runs periodically throughout the year, however the course is also available on a one to one basis.
