Mindfulness and compassion course - over eight Saturdays
Would you like to create more peace, calm and balance in your life? Mindfulness can be a great way to do this!
Mindfulness is a life skill; it is the opportunity of stepping out of ‘automatic’ and stepping into conscious awareness where you can simply observe your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations with friendly curiosity without being caught up in them.
It provides an opportunity to relax, slow down and experience ‘being’ in the moment. From this space you can learn to ‘respond’ to external pressures, to take more care of yourself, rather than ‘react’ and put yourself under more pressure.
The course I am offering includes a range of topics including:
- Reducing stress and anxiety.
- Improving relationship with self and others.
- Reviewing and challenging old beliefs and thinking patterns.
There will also be gentle, but effective mindfulness exercises, all underpinned by self enquiry and compassion.
This is a popular course that I have been running for several years. The venue in Bognor Regis is easy to get to, has plenty of parking space and is warm, comfortable and quiet. It is ideal for mindfulness practice.
The course runs from the 12th November and includes a break over Christmas. This is a wonderful way to end 2016 and start 2017!
I am an accredited counsellor, a lecturer in psychology and qualified to facilitate mindfulness courses. I bring a gentle and nurturing approach to the mindfulness courses I run. More information about this insight course is available on my website: www.person2personcounselling.co.uk. I look forward to hearing from you.
