Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training combines the skills of mindfulness with self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience. This course is an excellent compliment to therapeutic work. It will support you in deepening your self-compassion with practices and accessible exercises that you can also share effectively with clients. No previous mindfulness background required, although it is also a great further development opportunity if you do.

This is an empirically supported eight week course developed by Christopher Germer (mindfulness teacher and psychotherapist) and Kristin Neff (a pioneering researcher of the power of self-compassion to heal and restore).

The course involves eight, two and a half hour classes and a half day retreat. You will cultivate self-compassion through meditation, daily life practices, reflective exercises and discussion. A workbook and online resources complement the in-class learning. Safety and containment are a priority and the group is held by an experienced teacher with integrity and authenticity.

Our testimonials for this course include "this course changed my life!". To find out more go to: http://gomindfully.org/courses/mindful-self-compassion.
