Mental health awareness for counsellors - essential CPD
With Karl Gregory.
Whether it’s affected you directly or not, mental health is shedding its stigma and welcomed as a part of daily dialogue. However, as professional counsellors there is very little ongoing awareness training to help us support those clients who are bringing mental health issues into our counselling rooms.
So how do we approach working with mental health issues in counselling and supervision?
In this new series of workshops we will explore the myths and facts about mental illness.
Come and join us for an exciting evening where we begin to delve into this vast topic and talk frankly about how we might approach working with the many issues surrounding mental health in our counselling rooms.
