Making the most of motherhood - postnatal depression workshop
For postnatal mothers, the workshop aims to help you understand postnatal depression, how thoughts, feelings and behaviours influence and maintain each other, providing education to evolutionary and adaptive responses and to overcome self-criticism, guilt and shame.
You will acquire skills in managing and identifying thoughts, feelings and behaviours in helpful ways. Identifying unhelpful thinking styles, behaviour modification, peer support and normalisation, improve problem solving and decision making in relation to motherhood.
If you are finding it difficult to adjust to the transition of motherhood with increased pressures and demands with reduced resources to cope, feeling sad or unhappy, guilty or are overly critical, this course will be of benefit to you. Motherhood is not always an easy nor joyful experience, it can be hard, tiring and challenging, evoking difficult emotions and inducing a sense of isolation.
Don't suffer in silence, nor alone.
