Learn to manage your anger
Anger is a natural emotion and a fundamental part of being human.
But there are times when it can overwhelm us, causing us to lash out, possibly not even aware of how destructive our behaviour has become.
We are no longer in control of our anger but are controlled by it, leading us to over react, alienate, destroy and hurt ourselves and those we come into contact with every day.
But it doesn't have to be this way - you can take back control!
My name is Madison and I am a BACP Accredited counsellor and mental health trainer.
Within a small group, and in a safe controlled environment, I will help you explore and understand your anger and develop beneficial ways to manage these emotions in a healthy and positive way.
Together we will cover the following topics:
- about anger - what is it?
- fast control
- strategies to manage your anger
- anger in relationships (the usual problems) and solutions
- challenging angry thoughts and beliefs
- the longer term - challenges to managing your anger on the future.
After an initial assessment the course will be run over six weekly sessions lasting up to two hours, charged at £25 per session. You will receive ongoing support as well as a booklet of course material for you to keep. Refreshments will be provided.
Don’t be a victim of your anger, get in touch today and claim back your life.
