During this course, you will practice and gain an understanding of basic counselling skills, including:

  • enhanced listening
  • reflection on yourself and others
  • the skilled helper ‘toolkit’
  • counselling theories
  • ethical practice and supervision
  • develop self-awareness

The course offers the opportunity for personal and professional development for anyone who works in a supportive, advisory or voluntary capacity. It can also be a starting point for those wishing to eventually train to become a counsellor.

Commences Thursday 12th January from 10am until 11.30am.

Cost: £120 for four week course and all course materials
