Do you ever feel dissatisfied, unhappy, disappointed with or ashamed of your body? Do you sometimes believe your body should be healthier, thinner, younger, taller, fitter, more flexible, more able, more attractive, and pain-free?

Join us as we explore our relationship with our bodies, to discover what gets in the way of feeling gratitude for the miracle that it is. We will learn to use 'the work of Byron Katie' - a simple, yet profound mindful self-inquiry process - to discover how our mind creates the image we hold of our body. Through inquiring into our negative thoughts and feelings we can develop a more friendly, peaceful and appreciative relationship with it as it is, with all its 'imperfections' and challenges.

Come join us for this adventure into exploring what we really are, beyond our identification with our impermanent physical bodies.

All are welcome whether new to or experienced in ‘the work’.

I love that the work meets me wherever I am. When I experience stress, tension, sadness, fear or disappointment about my body’s (or someone else’s body’s) health, appearance or performance - for example getting older, experiencing chronic pain, my mother’s disability, receiving a diagnosis for my 8 year old son - I can identity the thoughts that are running through my mind, and take them gently to inquiry (the four questions of 'the work').

Whatever hasn’t been met with love and understanding yet can be compassionately investigated, appreciated and gradually un-learned.

The body continues to be a powerful and reliable teacher to me, and I am excited to explore together what we can find when we take our thought about it to inquiry.
I continue to feel immensely grateful for the gift of the work, as it allows me to experience the body with more acceptance, appreciation and peace.
