Do you eat when you're sad, happy, stressed or anxious? Do you compare yourself unfavourably to others? Does it feel as if you are alone in a world full of "out of control" eating? Have you at times isolated yourself from the world?

Emotional eating can feel lonely and desperate and can make a person want to hide. There is often a feeling that no one else understands...

Some people believe that it's easy - just stop eating, but if only it was that simple.

Emotional eating is complex, but you are not alone.

Our emotional eating support group is a monthly meeting made up of respectful, understanding and friendly emotional eaters. Each month we share thoughts and experiences where we listen and we support. Over the weeks we will identify areas of life that can trigger emotional eating, and we discuss tools for coping with triggers. We will learn how other people influence our eating.

Our topics are wide and varied, from the influence of the media, to the tricks and lies we tell ourselves when we've just eaten a whole cake.

Come and join us and begin the journey back from emotional eating.
