The American Psychological Society has now published the benefits of the forgiveness model and its implication for mental health, in the book entitled Forgivness Therapy, an empirical guild for resolving anger and restoring hope by Robert D. Enright and Richard P. Fitsgibbons. In this three week course, we will be exploring the various forgiveness assessment counselling tools which measure suitability for counselling and their empirical validity. We will explore the forgiveness process and model and its relevance and suitability for our client’s needs. We will also explore the current literature review in counselling and have discussions about our own process and understanding around the forgiveness model.

The afternoon will consist of presentations, discussions, reflection, open spaces for process, understanding and defining non-forgiveness and its long last effects on our lives, families and communities.

Please also look out for our four and seven residential retreats in Devon and New Forest. We will also run ‘forgiveness empowerment’ weekends. Please see www.meditationcircle.co.uk.
