One-day introductory training day for effective telephone counselling on Saturday the 1st of October 2016.

This one day training session is being led by Kate Trench (MBACP Accred) and Helen Logan (MBACP Accred). This course offers an introduction to working with clients via the telephone.

The workshop includes content on:

  • Understanding the strengths and possibilities of telephone counselling.
  • Developing rapport over the telephone.
  • Case studies for crisis and on-going telephone work.
  • Ethical issues when working by telephone.
  • Contracting and boundaries with telephone clients.

Time: 09.30am to 05.00pm

Venue: Hilton London Metropole Hotel 225 Edgware Road London W2 1JU

Cost: £145 (including VAT) per course
