Eastleigh women's well-being
Registered Rethink Mental Illness support group
Our group provides a safe, non-judgemental and supportive setting for women with lived experience of mental illness.
Our group is diverse, and group members experiences include depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, borderline personality disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.
You do not have to have a specific diagnosis or diagnoses to join us – it’s more important that you feel you might benefit from the group.
We offer a place where you can talk and be heard, learn more about yourself and from others, and form new friendships.
We believe a better life is possible for women affected by mental illness, and our aim is to enable you to improve your mental and emotional well-being.
We meet fortnightly on a Thursday, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, and each meeting is held in a private and comfortable room within The Wells Place Centre, Eastleigh. Refreshments are provided.
You are welcome to join us if you are aged 18 or over, and living within Hampshire or the neighbouring counties.
If you are interested in joining us, please contact me for an informal discussion.
About the host
I have supported a few mental health charities through both paid and voluntary work, and this group is registered with Rethink Mental Illness. I established this group in 2015, and it provides regular access to support, understanding and friendship. You are very welcome to join us following a discussion with me.
