Mindful - ‘Conscious or aware of something’ Oxford Dictionary.

Relationship - ‘The way in which two or more people or things are connected, or the state of being connected’ Oxford Dictionary.

Mindful Relationships entails the act of choosing to consciously connect with another person. It involves seeing your relationship, self and partner as each is, rather than as you may wish them to be, to reach a state of greater intimacy, where your relationship can truly evolve and flourish.

This workshop may be appropriate for you if:

  • You find yourself repeating the same destructive patterns in your relationships.
  • You would like to understand these patterns, so that you are not controlled by them.
  • You would like to create a strong foundation for a new relationship.
  • You would like to improve your current relationship.

About

In a world where we are often busy and hardly have time for ourselves, whilst many of us may desire a relationship, we just don’t have the know-how. Despite our best wishes and intentions, we may find ourselves repeating painful mistakes, hoping that this time things will be different.

Though we may love our partner, we may find ourselves butting up against challenges we are just not prepared for. Or perhaps, though your relationship is okay, or even good, something seems missing and a desire may arise to learn new skills to deepen and strengthen your connection.

Whatever point you find yourself at, this workshop has been designed to offer a deep level of learning, enabling it to be transferable to a range of circumstances.

Through sharing knowledge, case studies, exercises and practical skills, this workshop aims to introduce you to practical methods to develop the skills and consciousness to enjoy the relationship you want.

What’s included?

  • Mindfulness meditation training.
  • Exploration of how the structure of our brain can cause relationship difficulties.
  • Understanding of what might be blocking you from having the relationship you desire.
  • Understanding of how you can free yourself from destructive patterns.
  • Exploration of how to develop loving and lasting relationships.
  • Exercises to develop greater self-awareness and choice, communication and intimacy.
