A fantastic event providing the opportunity for you to meet other professionals, discuss relevant aspects of practice, listen to excellent talks from our three keynote speakers.
Workshops are also included, of which you will have opportunity to attend one. Led by a experienced occupational therapist working in community mental health, and Debbie Burgess of Doodle My Domain, who give start ups and small businesses marketing advice.
There is also an exciting opportunity to purchase some bespoke counselling tools and access to a relaxation room for you to take some time out and practice some self-care.
The event is for last year students, qualified and accredited counsellors and psychotherapists.

Keynote speaker: Ann Munro
'Ethics - legal dilemmas in counselling - a means to an end.'
Ann is a trauma/palliative care psychotherapist. She is a director of Time To Talk, a counselling agency for children and families. She is member of the hearing panel for BACP and works as a medical ethicist for Maidstone Tunbridge Wells trust. She has advised and appeared on various television and radio programmes. Come with your own ethical dilemmas!

Frances is a experienced humanistic counsellor and supervisor. She has worked for many organisations and specializes in areas of adoption, relationships and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She currently runs a very busy private practice in Hythe Kent.
Keynote speaker: Morna Bridges
'How to work with addicts successfully.'
Morna is a qualified addictions counsellor and well experienced recovery worker, having worked in a women rehabilitation centre's for over 20 years. She also works within the criminal justice mental health sector helping women with their recovery.
Workshop lead: Abi Hutter
'Working with personality disorder.'
Abi is a very experienced mental health occupational therapist. Personality disorder is a vast and complex condition, presenting in many ways and treated in many more. Abi will be discussing how to address presenting symptoms, assessing risk and looking at appropriate onward referral.

If you are thinking of, just started or even have an established private practice but need some ideas, save yourself a lot of effort as this is the workshop for you. Debbie will be giving you a variety of top tips and guidance on how to navigate marketing your business to bring you success. This will include a whistle stop tour of producing quality company branding, starting your own website and getting the best out of it, using blogs/vlogs, setting up social media and using it effectively.
