Calm birthing retreat for expectant parents - helping you to experience a calm and confident birth
This is a relaxing birthing retreat for any expectant parents who are looking for a way to celebrate their time together prior to the arrival of baby.
This retreat facilitates a way of enabling both parents to be involved in the birth of their baby and it encourages a calm and confident way of birthing. It combines approaches from psychological theory and therapy, mindfulness and hypnobirthing in a bespoke and tailored way for individual couples.
Some couples may have concerns over the upcoming birth of their child. Perhaps mum-to-be experiences tokophobia (fear of giving birth) or has some issues around a previous birth that she has experienced. Or perhaps dad or partner is concerned about feeling out of control or stressed whilst mum experiences the birthing process. Or perhaps the expectant couple would like to experience a babymoon which enables them to spend quality time together alongside learning a wonderful strategy for a calm and confident birth. Whatever your thoughts around the birthing process, this retreat provides an approach that assists the positive thinking around birth and can assist whatever the situation, whether you are anticipating a vaginal delivery or C-section, a home birth, midwife-led birthing unit or hospital birth.
This retreat is suited to all expectant couples who would like to make the most of some pre-baby time and enjoy each others' company before the big arrival.
The retreat accommodation is nestled in the beautiful Shropshire countryside and provides a rural escape with all meals and drinks included.
Each retreat will have only one expectant couple, so you can be guaranteed undivided attention, and you can tailor the retreat to suit your own needs. Additional treatments, such as massage, can be arranged at an additional cost.
If you are interested in a calm birthing retreat, please make contact and we can arrange a mutually convenient date for your retreat experience.
