Focusing is a special way of listening to your inner self, allowing for deeper insights and new understandings.

The British Focusing Association Certificate in Focusing Skills introduces you to focusing and enables you to develop both as a focuser and as a companion, giving you a solid basis.

Topics covered in the certificate include the origins and practice of focusing, wholebody focusing, awareness of our body's wisdom, self-in-presence, deeper understandings of the focusing process, the inner critic, symbols and dreams, trauma and action blocks.

Level one is an introduction, it is suitable for people who are new to focusing and for people who would like to refresh their skills. We are running level one twice, on September 11th and 12th and on November 27th and 28th. There will then be the option for participants to continue with levels two to five.

All five levels include a combination of focusing theory, practice in pairs and group discussions. Paula and Elizabeth aim to create a friendly and supportive atmosphere for your learning.
