This course is jointly facilitated by myself, Sarah Glen, and a peer facilitator, Vicky Parramore.

From worry to full blown panic attacks, anxiety can interfere with our well-being, daily lives and confidence. It can be an unpleasant and often frightening experience with many uncomfortable symptoms.

This course is for those wanting to understand and learn how to manage their anxiety.

Students will:

  • Gain a clear and practical understanding of the nature, origins and mechanisms of their anxiety, and its symptoms and triggers to create a platform to help manage anxiety more effectively.
  • Learn about the different treatments available, and find out what they do and how they work so you can make an informed decision.
  • Try out and practice some strategies and tips, to create a personal toolkit to help them manage anxiety in both the short and long term.

This course would also be helpful for friends and family of those who are suffering from anxiety.
