This course explores the origin and theoretical basis behind Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), in particular focusing on the ‘information processing’ operating in the brain. We will focus on the 8 stage protocol; introduce various aids and resources, as well as using client case studies to demonstrate how EMDR is used on a practical basis. A video will also be used in the workshop to aid the learning process. Information on further training for EMDR will be covered in the workshop should you wish to become an EMDR practitioner.

This is an interactive workshop building on people’s current experience and knowledge, providing 6 hours of CPD.
