Adopting together: Developing advanced skills and knowledge in assessment and matching
Tavistock Relationships is offering free two day training to senior adoption practitioners, to help promote thinking about the couple relationship in the adoption process. This training is specifically designed to help develop advanced skills and knowledge in both assessment and matching, with a particular focus on the couple relationship. It is a response to evidence which shows that adoption places a considerable strain on the relationship of adoptive couples (Selwyn, 2014).
It is highly recommended that senior practitioners applying for this training undertake the free one day training (being offered around the country) for frontline adoption workers before attending this two day advanced course.
This is a recognised CPD event, so those attending will receive a certificate of attendance.
