One Day Introductory Workshop

Dance Movement Psychotherapy

Led by Susan Scarth & Sarah Holden

At: Nuevo Studio, Croydon
On: Saturday 25th September 2010
From: 10am to 5pm (lunch 1pm to 2pm - bring packed lunch, drinks provided)
Fee: £75 (reduction to £70 for applications received before 14th Aug)

The workshop will provide a visual, theoretical and experiential introduction to the use of movement and dance in psychotherapy.

The day will consist of brief presentations, clinical vignettes and experiential learning and is open to both men and women, of all ages (19 and above) and abilities, working in a small group.

Applicants need to be prepared to move and should come dressed in loose, comfortable clothing. The floor surface is warm and clean so people may wish to move in bare feet if not please bring soft indoor footware.

Susan and Sarah are both practising DMPs with considerable experience of working in many clinical settings, including private practice and in the training of therapists.

Nuevo Studio is situated 12 mins walk from central Croydon
Trains from East & West Croydon stations have links to Victoria and London Bridge (15 mins) and Brighton (under 60 mins) & the South Local buses and tramlink connections across S E & S W London
