A one day workshop with Jud Stone
10.00am - 4.00pm
Fee: £90 (£75 counselling/psychotherapy trainees)
Jud Stone is an organisational consultant and UKCP registered group analytic psychotherapist. She trained at the Tavistock Clinic, IGA and at Goldsmiths University of London. She works with groups in a variety of organisational settings, which include: working with troubled teams; facilitating staff supervision groups and action learning sets in the NHS, Local Government and the Voluntary Sector. She teaches on the MA in Leadership for Health and Social Care at Thames Valley University.
This one day workshop will enable participants to explore some of the complexity of organisational life and how it impacts on individuals and groups.
Some of the areas that will be considered are:
What do we mean when we talk about
roles and tasks in organisations?
How is power used and abused in
organisations?
What causes stress for people working in
organisations?
Why can it sometimes feel impossible to
collaborate to get things done?
How do unconscious processes manifest
themselves in organisations?
A variety of experiential techniques, exercises and activities will be used to explore feelings, thinking and some theories about what goes on in organisations. Please come prepared to think about and contribute your own experience of working in or running organisations.
Contact Mayra Angulo on 020 7378 2054 or email training@wpf.org.uk for an application form.
