Zoe Young Counselling Services. Dip. Couns. MBACP.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or anxious, lonely or depressed and feel like you have no-one to turn to, I can help. Being listened to in a setting that offers safety, warmth and compassion, free from judgement, can help you to feel really heard and accepted for who you are.
I am a qualified and experienced counsellor. I am registered with the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy. I will offer you a safe, confidential and non-judegemental space for you to talk through your worries and difficulties. I provide a professional and ethical service and adhere to my professional body's Ethical Framework.
My theoretical approach to counselling is integrative, meaning I work in a person-centred and psychodynamic way. I can help you explore unresolved childhood experiences and what is happening in your life in the here and now. I can help if you are experiencing difficlties in your life that you need to resolve and get your life back on track.
I work with adults and adolescents who may be experiencing a wide range of issues, such as:
- relationship issues
- family issues
- unsresolved childhood experiences
- abuse - physical, emotional or sexual
- work related difficulties
- self harm
- suicidal thoughts and feelings.
I can help you to gain new insight and self awareness so that you can make changes in your life, enabling you to move forward.
I have 20 years' experience of working with young people within an educational setting using counselling skills and providing emotional support.
I am able to travel to you if you are unable to travel to me. Give me a call to discuss and we can make arrangements.
