About me

Many of my clients have come to counselling feeling angry, sad, frustrated, lost, lonely, depressed, anxious or just really stuck and in each case we have been able to work together to change those feelings.

If you are experiencing similar feelings and would like to know more about how I can help you then call or email to set up a free 50 minute initial pre counselling session. Here we can talk more about you and whats brought you to counselling & what you want from the sessions. I will then tell you about how I will work with you and answer any questions you have. If you're happy to continue then we will agree a regular time/day to meet.

Please drop me an email if you have any further questions or check out my website.

Many thanks
Zoe

Young Peoples Counselling Service

I'm a Parent / Carer, can you see my child?
I am passionate about the wellbeing of young people and offer counselling services to those of 13 years and over.
Having counselled many young people in schools and agencies I understand the issues which affect young people. Pressure at school, changes at home, bereavements and complicated friendships are some of the things which can and lead to anxiety, saddness and anger. It can be really upsetting to see your son or daughter distressed or struggling with life. Providing additional support at this time can really help them to explore what's going on and help them work through these issues in a positive way.

I'm a young person, what can I expect from our sessions?
Firstly I believe it is really important for you to know that our sessions will be confidential. This means I will not share anything you have said with anyone else you know, this includes your family and friends. The only time I would have to speak to someone in your family is if I thought you (or someone you mentioned) were at risk of any serious harm. This really doesn't happen often and I would always try to talk to you about it first. So all that means you can talk openly about what's going on in your life without the worry that someone else will find out.

Secondly I'm not like your teacher, I'm not going to tell you what to do, think or feel! Together we are going to talk about the things in your life which are troubling you the most. I am going to help you really understand what's going on and hopefully this will make you feel happier about the situation. You can talk about anything you like in our session, I am not going to judge you or tell you off, we can even have some music on in the background if that would help you relax. This time is all about you.
