About me

In today's dynamic technological world, it's easy for the lines between our digital engagements and emotional states to blur. Standing at this junction, I blend a heartfelt passion for understanding the nuances of the human spirit with the expertise of 19 years in therapeutic practice. I'm here to offer support, whether you're navigating personal challenges, seeking guidance in mindfulness, or just need a conversation to gain clarity. My approach encompasses a unique blend of therapeutic modalities—from cognitive-behavioural therapy and trauma-informed care to mindfulness practices. Furthermore, I specialize in areas like GSRD (Gender, Sexuality, and Relationship Diversity) and neurodiversity, ensuring each session aligns closely with individual needs.

Recognizing the diverse preferences of today's world, I provide both virtual and in-person sessions. Whether you prefer the accessibility of online therapy or the intimate setting of face-to-face interactions, I aim for flexibility.

Throughout my years, I've collabarated closely with creatives and tech professionals, gaining a deep understanding of the unique pressures and challenges faced in both the artistic and digital realms. Yet, I firmly believe that the essence of therapy transcends industries—it's about fostering human connection, fostering understanding, and sparking transformation. No matter the challenge at hand, I'm here to walk beside you, offering insights and strategies to light your way.

In an age where digital transformation and creative innovation are the norm, our emotional and mental landscapes constantly adapt and evolve. My therapeutic approach mirrors this dynamism. I view therapeutic methods as essential tools, each chosen to match the unique intricacies of an individual's life and the challenges they face. Especially for those in tech and creative sectors, I offer a tailored approach built on respect for your personal choices, beliefs, and the distinct pressures inherent to your field.

The foundation of my method lies in support and challenge. Our goal isn't just to endure life's stresses but to actively navigate them with purpose and resilience. Rather than simply addressing surface-level symptoms, we'll work collaboratively towards long-term, positive transformation, leveraging the strengths and resources you already possess. More often than not, our reactions to external events—rooted in our interpretations and sometimes outdated reflexes—cause our distress. Our journey will be one of self-discovery: learning to pause, introspect, and consciously respond. By examining how past experiences shape our present reactions, we aim to redefine those responses, paving the way for a more harmonized existence.

Member organisations

Registered / Accredited

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
