Hi, I am Yvonne

Life can be very difficult, and sometimes we can become consumed by our dilemmas, stresses, and potentially destructive coping mechanisms, leaving us feeling hurt, anxious, angry and confused.  Counselling can give us an opportunity to stop and dedicate time and space to considering why we feel and act as we do.

In my experience as an individual and as a counsellor  I have seen how gaining this insight can lead to clarity and acceptance, freeing us to live in a more balanced and contented way.

As a  person centred counsellor my aim is to provide a safe, secure and freeing space for this to happen.  I will listen carefully and confidentially and try my best to understand your world as you see it.  I will respect and value you and your decisions, and aim to be open and genuine so we can build a relationship built on trust and equality, supporting you as you move toward taking control of your life.

Fees

My fees are £35.00 per 50 minute session.  I am always happy to negotiate fees, depending on circumstances.

£20 for 30 minute introductory sessions.

I practice from a consulting room within East Kilbride Central Library.

I recognise that coming for counselling and taking those first steps to changing your life can be daunting.  If you would like to call me in the first instance to discuss any concerns or issues please don't hesitate.  Introductory 30 minute session are also available if you feel that would be helpful.
