About me

Life is fast paced and can be stressful, many of us experience difficulties in which we may need help with, and by reading this you have taken that first step.
I run Practises across South Wales and in London

Individual Therapy

I like to work with people to overcome their difficulties and to start living life to the full again, focussing on well-being. Treatment plans are tailored to each individual to ensure you get the most out of your Counselling session.

I use cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) to help each individual overcome issues and problems. Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a talking therapy that can help you manage your problems by changing the way you think and behave. It can work for a variety of problems.

I have 5 years counselling experience, as well as 6 years working in the field of mental health previous to my training.

Couples Therapy

Often a couple can face struggles and conflict. I offer Cognitive Behavioural couples therapy, with the main focus being Intervention and prevention. Here I will help the couple to explore what is going on in their relationship and teach them new communication skills and techniques, to hopefully put their relationship back on track. (CBCT) is a highly efficacious approach for assisting couples experiencing relationship distress.

Counselling for Children and young people.
Sometimes your child or teenager may need counselling to enable them to explore and understand their feelings and the world around them. Entrusting your child to someone else is often a daunting thought.

I am fully qualified with a Diploma in Child and Youth Counselling, as well as 3 years experience working in Schools as a schools counsellor. I have a current DBS (which has now replaced a CRB police check)
