About me

I am happy to work with all types of clients including children, teenagers, adults, couples and families. Depending on the issues a client brings, I use a range of therapeutic approaches in my work, including CBT, counselling, assertiveness training and schema therapy.

My aim is to help people feel better and to live more satisfying, fulfilled lives. At the first appointment we will discuss the things you want to be helped with and I will say how I think I can help you and how many sessions I think you will need. I usually have a short-term approach, with most clients needing six sessions or less, although this is very flexible.I treat people for depression, anxiety, sleep disturbances, relationship difficulties, work-related problems, confidence issues, fear and phobias, anger problems, loss and bereavement, parenting problems and difficulties arising from being an abuse victim.
