I do not presume to say I can eliminate or resolve every problem, but I hope I can assist my clients find their own individual solutions.
All my therapy programmes are tailored to the specific needs of each client with a dedicated programme to assist with solving the problem or helping them to understand themselves better. I have experience of dealing with phobias, low self esteem,anger, anxieties and depression to name but a few areas of my counselling work. Additionally, I have been involved in supporting victims of domestic violence and have experience of working with young people.
I offer supervision to students studying counselling and counselling as part of their course requirements.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have worked for many years with young people, helping them resolve their problems and most recently I have been counselling in a school helping young people with issues of low self esteem, bullying, family break-ups/parents divorcing, anger management, eating disorders and self harm, to name but a few of the problems.
I am a registered nurse (RNLD) working with patients with severe and enduring mental health problems and personality disorders and I have nearly twenty years’ experience of working with clients with learning disabilities. I have worked overseas as well as having worked in several areas of England; this has given me a wider understanding of life, different cultures and ethnic diversity.
I am a qualified counsellor and I am a Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (MBACP); I have regular supervision and work within the BACP code of Ethics at all times.
I am a member of CounselMe which is a counselling, psychotherapy and Complementary therapy cooperative in Lincoln city centre.

I believe counselling should be affordable by everyone who wants it and my fees are based on my client's personal circumstances.
Students requiring supervision : £30 per one and a half hours.
Because health is holistic,my woriking hours reflect that belief and I work long hours and at weekends to accommodate my clients lifestyle.

I see clients at the offices in town, Monday to Friday, finishing at 7pm (19.00hrs). At weekends, I work from home and see clients between 09.30 -1.30 (09.30-13.30hrs) usually on a Sunday.
