Counselling can provide a safe and confidential space to be able to express how we really feel, to talk and to be heard without being judged. To express the difficulties that have got us down can really help us deal with them.
I am a qualified counsellor who has experience of working with adults, teenagers and families. I have helped adults, teenagers and young people deal with relationships, anxiety and low self esteem issues. I understand how difficult life can be for young adults, to be in the right crowd and to look a certain way, sometimes the pressure can be too much. I have a lot of experience of helping teenagers dealing with exam anxiety also.
With adults it may be relationship difficulties, problems with families or financial worries that can get us down. Life can make us unhappy about lots of things and the importance of being able to talk to someone about anything is often the key to unlocking the anxieties and sadness.
I also have experience of working with children and teenagers with special needs.
I have been working with families, adults and teenagers for many years especially in the area of special needs and understand how difficult live can be for many families.
Talking to someone in a calm and confidential space and being heard can help to look at those things that make us unhappy and unable to cope, and being open can help us to start to deal with them.
